BRITISH AIRWAYS DREAMLINER
History was made in March 2014 with the launch of British Airways non-stop flights from Austin-Bergstrom to London Heathrow, the first trans-Atlantic commercial flight from Austin. Business class took on a new meaning with the comfort of the new 787 Dreamliner. Designed for comfort, the aircraft features the largest windows of any commercial aircraft, electronic dimmer blinds on each window, LED mood lighting, which reflects the time of day throughout the flight, and a first-of-its-kind climate-control system. Innovations in lighting, sound reduction and pressurization also help reduce jet lag. In Club World, the seats have a new configuration for more privacy, storage and space. They recline to a 6-foot, fully flat bed, allowing for less fatigue and better sleep during the 10-hour flight.
